Introduction

The School of GeoSciences Postgraduate Research Conference will take place on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 March 2011 at St Leonard's Hall, Pollock Halls. All first year PhD students will deliver a presentation on their research to students and staff. All second year PhD students will prepare a poster and be on hand to explain their research. The Conference will also include a keynote presentation and discussion session followed by a prize ceremony.

This event is a great way for students to gain valuable experience in presenting their research to experts and non-specialists and to benefit from feedback and collective discussion.
